It’s one of those books you won’t be able to put down. (And for those that have read it, note the deadly nightlock berries on the cover. Talk about a great finishing touch!)
Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack:
I would say water or tea. There is an occasional diet coke in there or glass of wine but most likely water.
No I do not write in books. I don’t have anything against it, I just don’t do it.
Some of all of this. I usually dog-ear pages unless I happen to be able to find one of the I am sure hundreds of bookmarks I have. Never can find them when I want one. Occasionally, I find the kids trading cards in my book or a receipt. If I have to go do something quickly, like answer the phone, I will leave it open flat.
I read pretty much anything and everything.
I would rather stop at the end of a chapter but with kids that doesn’t happen all the time or I have a bad habit of reading in bed. I have fallen asleep in the middle of a chapter or had to reread because I can’t remember.
I don’t think I have even thrown a book. I am more likely to get upset that I am waiting for the next book to come out
Most of the time no. The only time that I would is if I really could not figure something out by context and that is very rare. I usually can make a good guess and that is good enough for me.
I am reading The Secret Life of Dresses, Rot and Ruin, and something on my Nook that I just cannot remember right now sorry.
What is the last book you bought?
The last book I bought was Matched but the last book bought in the house was Arms Commander for my husband.
I always have more than one book going. I really cannot remember the last time I just had one.
As long as the story does not go south, I enjoy series, I like to follow up with my old favorite friends as long as the story does not become repetitive. That being said I like stand alones too.
