It's Monday What Are You Reading?

These great memes are hosted by One Persons Journey Through a World of Books and Teach Mentor Texts. Each week will share with you the books we are reading, just finished reading and those books we are planning to read this week.

A Beath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon (audio)

Clean by Alex Hughes

On the Island by Tracy Garvis-Graves

Clean is currently sitting to the side because well I am just not in the mood for a book that requires a ton of thinking and so hard it has.  So I guess that right now I am in need of light easy reads.  Sometimes you just have to go with what works.

What did you accomplish this week?  I hope that you got a lot of reading done and I hope you will leave me a comment or link or something.

Have a great week!

  1. Thanks for stopping by Girl Who Reads I’ve been reading some pretty heavy stuff lately, but thankfully have some lighter reads lined up when I get through this week’s list.

  2. I may need to start this meme ((I’m thinking this week I’ll start a list of the memes I need to start and then actually start them – novel concept there, huh?)!

I finished the audio of Lisa Scottoline’s Save Me (my review should be up), read Dog Diaries #1 and I’m reading Defiance and a few library books.

  3. I got some books off the review stack and got a bit ahead in the review reading. I’ve put aside a book for various reasons as well. You are right, gotta go with what works.

  4. Thanks for stopping by Cherie Reads! I’ve had On the Island on my TBR for a while now. I’ll stay tuned to see what you think. I’m a new follower. 🙂

  5. I’ve got a couple of books to read this week but I think I’ll start with Adaptation by Malinda Lo. Just finished Because It Is My Blood which I really enjoyed. If you are in the mood for nice easy read, I think On the Island would fit the bill.

  6. On The Island looks really good!

  7. Nice set of reads! Have been seeing a few around the blogosphere! Hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my Monday Wrapup

    Have a GREAT day!

  8. On the Island looks like a perfect book for these busy beginning-of-the-school-year days! Thank you for sharing it.

  9. Great list of books here! I’m two books away from A Breath of Snow and Ashes and really need to get to it!

  10. I’m interested to see how Clean ends up. It sounds like a good book. Different. 🙂
