Q. It’s that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

A. I think that many of the fantasy worlds we be really cool to make reality and some Sci-Fi.  I know that David would love to see the The Lord Of The Rings world come to life.  How awesome would that be!

I think that I would love to be in the Kim Harrison world from Hallows.  I just have always loved this series despite all of the craziness that goes on.  It is like our world plus the magic.  My other choice would be from The Dresden books by Jim Butcher.  I would just love to meet all of these characters.

Book Blogger Hop

“As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?”

Great question.  It is a bit long but I think I am just going to repost it.

When I first started this blog, I didn’t really think that I needed an about me page but now I am not the only one reviewing on this blog so I thought that it would be a good addition.

About the Blog: I, Lisa, founded this blog in November 2010.  I followed a few book blog and read a lot.  I figured if others could do it so could I.  So I dove right in and learned a lot in a short amount of time.  I know that I am still finding my stride and what works for the blog but I am enjoying every minute of it.  Recently, my husband, David and my two son, who will be referred to here on the blog by their first initials, A and B, showed interest in posting reviews so from time to time you will see posts from them.  That being said, they must deal with my penguin rating system because I love them!

About Us:

Lisa – Our family lives in Michigan, with short summer and long winters.  Reading has always been a hobby of mine and now I get to share my thoughts with all of you.  I work as a Quality Analyst in an automotive call center as my day job.  Basically, a teacher for how to handle customers and meet the expectations set forth.  As far as other hobbies, sometimes I scrapbook, I seem to be addicted to stupid Facebook games (it changes all the time) and this coming spring David and I will be training to walk the Susan G. Komen 3day for the Cure.  We have been married for 11 years and have a cat, names Chevy, a turtle named Briann, and the horse named Lee.

David –  David has always been an avid reader with a focus on Fantasy books and some Sci-Fi.  His day job is construction, a ton of hard work that no one really notices.  He also enjoys hunting and horse back riding.  Yep, that horse is all his.  You can also check out his photo blog  This is a newer hobby but is a lot of fun.

A –  A will be starting the 6th grade in the fall of 2011.  He enjoys Star Wars books and anything to do with Legos.

B – B will be starting 4th grade in the fall of 2011.  He also enjoys Star Wars, but also likes to read a lot more than A.

I would love to check out your answers to this week’s Follow Friday Questions!  Please leave me a link.

  1. The Hallows sounds like a good choice! Although, I did stop reading after K. died (hope I didn’t spoil that for you) because I was so disappointed 🙁 I may have to pick it up again though.

Old follower, wishing you a good weekend!

  2. Just hopping by. Have a great weekend.

  3. This week’s Book Blogger Hop really threw me a curveball.

That’s because I don’t call myself a book blogger. I never even considered myself a book blogger. Sure I blog about books and book-related topics week after week. But for some reason I never saw the label of “book blogger” applying to me.

If you’re wondering why then please hop on over to my blog and find out –

  5. Hi! New follower.

I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t even think of Middle Earth – I should have done! It really is a very, very good universe. And I’d be very happy to live there!
