Booking Through Thursday

This week’s Booking Through Thursday Question is:

What’s the latest you’ve ever stayed up reading a book? Is staying up late reading a usual thing for you?

I have stayed up all night – I know that is bad but I really just had to know what happened!  I couldn’t even tell you know what book it was.  When I was younger it was much easier for me to stay up later.  Now, I end up falling asleep while I am reading which in return means that I must go back and reread pages until I know what is happening.

Funny that this question should come today because I would have love to stay up last night and read this little number…

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins.  I have been dying to read it since I finished Anna and The French Kiss which I loved.  Such a great story.  The problem with staying up last night was that I had to be at work this morning so it was a no go but I did get about 50 pages in and I will most likely finish it tonight.  So excited to get in on a blog tour for this book.  That being said watch for a review coming soon!

What is your answer to this Booking Through Thursday Question?

  1. I am retired, therefore if I have no appointments to get to in the morning, it makes it much easier for me to stay up a wee bit longer to read into the wee small hours of the morning. But I try to keep my late nights to the only ones where I can’t fall asleep.

  2. Good answer! I have trouble staying awake though… I really want to read Anna and Lola! I have heard good things about them! Feel free to check out my full BTT here.

  3. Having to get up for work can definitely be a problem for staying up late! At least you didn’t get too tempted to stay up despite having to get up early!

  4. lol I guess the good thing is, that we actually remember that we could read into the wee hours of the morning and then be able to function lol. Almost 7pm …bedtime lol.

  5. I can’t really stay up too late reading anymore. I tend to fall asleep while I’m reading and forget what I’ve read.
