Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).
I could not even tell you the name of the book anymore but I was going through a really rough time and this books just totally clicked with where I was with my life and what I needed to do to turn it around. It for sure probably turned me into the person I am today. A strong woman who doesn’t let the world get her down. Who will stand up for what is right and stands up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. That is my sad little story.
“What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?”
I would love to get my hands on a copy of The Next Always by Nora Roberts. I can’t wait for the Bed and Breakfast based book!
On a side note, I just wanted to share with you all what I did last night. Below you will find a picture of my horse, Lee. Well, really my husband’s horse. Anyway, we took her out in the cart last night. It was so nice.
What are your answers this follow Friday?
Happy Follow Friday Everyone!
Q. Let’s step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?
I can’t pick just one of these so here they are.
Both totally true. 🙂
Oh and this one
Coming soon I hope.
So what answers do you have for me this lovely rainy Follow Friday?
Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?
I would love to sit down with J.R.R Tolkien, Diana Gadablon and Nora Roberts. I love all of these authors and I think that each of them has an unique style and would love to pick their brains about their writing, their lives and experiences. I guess this also says a lot about my reading style. It is all over the place.
What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?
I really wish that I could get into Steampunk. I have read a couple of books and they just take me forever to read which takes away from the experience for me. I just have a really hard time with the concepts. I have enjoyed the stories but just wish they were easier for me to read.
What about you? I would love to hear your answers to either of the Follow Friday questions. Remember comments are locate at the top right had side of this post!
