Q. In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in question “comes out of the closet” and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

I don’t know that I can pick just one.  The trouble with this question for me is there are so many different types of each creature that as been written and I have favorites in each of them, but really would not want some of the unusual types to be the ones to come out for real.

So for vampires, I would not mine the Sookie Vampires or those from the Anita Blake Series but I have read a few series where they are just nasty beings out to get all humans, I don’t want those ones to come out.

Werewolves – The Anita Blake Wolfs are really my favorite.  I don’t want to deal with the vicious ones that are just mean and nasty.

OK, so I am seeing a pattern here.  I like the friendly fun creatures but not the mean ones.

I asked David and his answer is the Elves from the Lord of the Rings.  That is a pretty good answer as well!

Book Blogger Hop “Non-book-related this week!! Do you have pets?”

Why yes we do.  I am hoping that I will be able to find pictures of them all for you, but it may have to wait until I get home and can post them.  Anyway, we have 1 turtle names Briann, she is a red-eared slider.  Pretty much is just a piece of furniture in our house with her 90 gallon tank. One cat named Chevy, when we got him he purred like an engine, thus his name.  He has since out grown his purr, makes me sad.   And one horse, named Lee.  Hmmm, not sure what I can say about her other than she is really sweet and likes peppermints as a treat.

Well, those are my Follow Friday Answers.  Now what about you – I would love to know the answers you have for these questions.  Thanks for following!

Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?

Lisa’s Answer: I love The Outlander Series by Diana Galdadon.  I would have to write myself into that series as so one who was close with Claire so that I could go one these amazing adventures with her.  I would love to visit Scotland in both of the periods of time she travels too.  Not to mention living through all of that history.

Sure it would be hard, I mean giving up all of the conveniences we have today for horses and no technology but I still think that it would be an awesome adventure and probably make me appreciate the things I do have a lot more when I was able to come back through the standing stones to my modern world.

Outlander (20th Anniversary Edition)Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander Series #2)Voyager (Outlander Series #3)Drums of Autumn (Outlander Series #4)The Fiery Cross (Outlander Series #5)A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander Series #6)An Echo in the Bone (Outlander Series #7)

This was a pretty easy question for me.  What about you? What book would your write yourself into?  Please be sure to let me know if you are a new follower.

TGIF everyone!  It has been a pretty long week around here and I am very ready for the weekend.  Keep in mind that here in Michigan the walkers in the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure are walking sixty miles in 3 days to help stop breast cancer.  Keep them in your thoughts!

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?

Lisa –  My habits have also changed a lot since I was a teen. Then I read but it was pretty haphazard.  Now, reading is a priority and an outlet to check out of the craziness of life as an adult.   I really didn’t find any authors that I had to read so I just picked up a book here or there and it might have taken me weeks to read it in between all of the other commitments I had.  I wish that I had been more interested then, but maybe it makes me apperaciate books more now.  Really this all changed about the time I started college.  Thank goodness.  While I always read romance, my genres have expanded like crazy.

David – As an adult, I have less time to read so in turn I read less books.  In High School, it was not uncommon for me to read a book a day when I could afford to buy them.  Lunch money was usually spent on books not on food.  Still had enough for a pop and candy bar but books were cheaper then.  I still read the same types of books, that has not changed.

I hope that if you don’t already you will follow, if you do please let me know so if I don’t already follow you I can.  So we shared ours now how do you answer this Follow Friday Question?
