What’s more important: Good writing? Or a good story?
(Of course, a book should have BOTH, but…)
Honestly, while it annoys me, I can get beyond not so great writing if the story is outstanding. If it grabs my attention and doesn’t let me down then I get so into the story that I can by pass some of the writing problems.
What do you think?
Yes, a good story can overcome many problems with the writing, as long as the writing isn’t truly horrible…Ugh.
Here’s MY THURSDAY MEMES POST and here’s
MY WEBSITE
Yes it’s all about the story, without it why would you bother reading the book unless it was mandatory, and if that was the case neither would matter. Here’s my BTT.
Happy Reading!

I think you really need both.

I definitely read for the story. If it’s amazing, I can get past writing quirks/issues pretty easily.
