  • Synopsis:

In A Gift from Tiffany’s by Melissa Hill, New York City at Christmas and a visit to Tiffany’s is a recipe to sweep a girl off her feet—unless fate has other plans . . .

When Ethan Greene lost his wife to cancer, he never thought he would be able to replace her… until one woman stepped in and showed him how to be happy again.  Now, on a romantic Christmas trip to New York City, he has a plan to show Vanessa just how important she is to him, and maybe even give his daughter, Daisy, a complete family again. He’s going to propose with a perfect ring from Tiffany’s.Gary Knowles and his girlfriend Rachel are on the trip-of-a-lifetime in New York, at the most magical time of year. The only thing missing is Gary’s gift for Rachel. On a last-minute Christmas Eve visit to Tiffany’s, he quickly picks out a charm bracelet for her, and heads back to their hotel. But, in a moment, one small mistake changes everything.

Rachel Conti loved New York at Christmas.  Although a visit to the city was always a treat, at this time of year Manhattan was truly at its finest: all decked out in sparkle and full of holiday cheer.

As she sat drinking mulled wine and looking out of the window at the lights of the skyscraper opposite her SoHo hotel, she was mildly sorry she hadn’t gone the whole hog and booked somewhere uptown like the Plaza, or at least stayed in a place with views over Central Park.  It would have been so much more romantic, especially as it was forecast to snow tomorrow, but midtown was all Rachel could afford at the time she’d been making the reservation.  She and Gary were only two of the vast hordes visiting New York at Christmas, and most of the btter hotels were either booked or way too expensive.

I am getting into the Christmas mood and my books are following suit.  I hope that you enjoyed this week’s teaser.  What do you have to share this Teaser Tuesday?
