Follow Friday

FF 2012 Feature & Follow #80

Q: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done to get your hands on any particular book?

Wow, I am excited to see people’s answers because I am very very boring.  I don’t think I have ever done anything crazy. I have never waited in line or anything like that.  I just wait for it to come out and then go buy it.  I asked David if he had any great examples, but he doesn’t either really.  His biggest thing is that he has hunted high and low to find all of the books in the Dragonlance series.  He wanted to have all of it.  Well, guess what, we do now.  🙂

What about you?  Any craziness going on in your book hunting lives?

I have new follow buttons on the right hand side on my page.  I hope that you will consider following me.  If you currently follow GFC, please consider a new way as this will be going away soon.

Thanks!

  1. Oh Suffision! I love this theme! I thought about using it as well, but then decided that I didn’t want a framework.. Oops, shutting up already. XD

Will you add a Networked Blogs widget to your sidebar? I’d love to follow you!!

And same here. I never did anything special or crazy to get a book, except for running real fast when a bookstore called me and told me a book was already there AND buying books twice to read them asap (ebook) and also have them on my shelves. *sigh*

  2. I’m pretty boring when it comes to book getting… I’ve never even gone to a midnight release party. (I like sleep too much *lol* )

  4. Yeah, mine wasn’t too exciting either! I just travel to like every bookstore I know looking for a book. A waste of gas, but I say I come out successful about 65-70% of the time!

    Here’s my Friday Hops

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  5. I stold in line for 2 hours waiting for the sale for Harry Potter books 4, 5, 6, 7 and also waited a couple of hours for The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner(Twilight series).
That is really the only crazy stuff. When I waited for Harry Potter 5, I was 6 months pregant. That was a long wait.
