Synopsis:

Waking up with a strange man is scary. Realizing you lost fifteen years of your life overnight? That’s terrifying. With her memories from seventeen to thirty-two gone, Kate has no idea who she is and where she belongs. As she begins to fall for the man who found her, she wonders if she forgot those years for a reason. Should she keep trying to retrieve her original self, or start a new life?

My Thoughts:

I have read many of Heather Wardell’s books and she consistently brings unique stories with characters you wish that you could meet in real life.   Blank Slate Kate was a bit like trying to put together a puzzle without being able to see what the picture looks like, which was fun interesting and made for a lot of fun surprises along the way.  What I really enjoy about this story is the idea of waking up someplace and having no idea who you are and having to recreate yourself.  All of character are so well defined and it really made me want to know them.  The relationship end of it is very interesting.  ”Kate” trying to rediscover her relationship with Ryan, her husband, while dealing  with feelings for the man she woke up with no memory with.  I really enjoyed the story and it is constant with everything I know about Heather Wardell’s writing.

My Rating:

5 Penguins! A great unique story!
